A library land update: Creative Commons Certificate

I have really hit the ground running this year!

In mid-January I started work on The Creative Commons Certificate.  The Creative Commons Certificate is suitable for everyone and introduces learners to key concepts around Creative Commons licences, open practices, copyright and the ethos of the Commons.

The Creative Commons Certificate has been a wonderful experience so far.  I have had the opportunity to speak with fellow learners from across the globe as I develop my understanding of Creative Commons with the support of established Creative Commons champions.

I’ve also been fortunate enough to study with my colleague Katya – I can’t tell you how wonderful it has been to have someone just down the hall to discuss all things Creative Commons (and Creative Commons Certificate assessments!) with.

I’ve just hit the half-way point in the course and I am looking forward to the remaining modules.

The best thing about the Creative Commons Certificate is that the course materials are open under a CC BY licence, so if you would like to take a look and work through the modules you can!  You can check it out here.

I have been putting all my assessments from the course on my blog.  Check them out here.
